Future Day for Female Students and Female Doctoral Candidates
Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 1 to 7pm
Studies, Doctorate – And Then What?
Sometimes that is a very difficult question to answer as there are so many possibilities. Start a family or focus on your career? Get off to a flying start or find a job with set working hours? And what to do when? Our 2018 Future Day for Female Students and Female Doctoral Candidates deals directly with such topics.
How do I get off on the right foot when starting my career? How do I want to work later on and what companies reflect my interests? Am I better suited to a career in industry or in science? This event aims to prepare you for and inform you about your future professional life.
Regional and national companies will present themselves both at fair booths and with short presentations. Here you have the opportunity to have direct contact with human resource representatives and to learn about application processes and entry-level jobs. Job and continuing education possibilities at RWTH will also be presented. A moderated talk with the companies and a networking get-together with beverages and snacks round out the day.
This event is for female students in all Bachelor and Master courses of study as well as for female doctoral candidates in all fields of study.
Childcare is available free of charge – please pre-register in time.
